Temple Beth El Shabbat B'Chutz

There are infinite ways in which a person can pray, and Temple Beth El is dedicated to providing diverse opportunities for spiritual deepening. We invite you to join us for Shabbat B’Chutz, an outdoor davening alternative. We will take a walk through Jewell Falls in Portland to take in the beauty that surrounds us and connect with God and our environment. Shabbat B’Chutz does not replace regular morning services which begin at 9:30 am on Saturday in our small chapel. Kids and dogs (on leash) are welcome. Following the hike, we will return to Temple Beth El to rejoin our community to say Kiddush and have a nosh. *In case of rain, Shabbat B’Chutz will join the regular Shabbat morning service B’fnim (inside).
