Description

Come and learn about Israel’s own martial art! Krav Maga, or “Contact Combat,” is an Israeli self-defense system that is authentic, powerful, and fun to practice. This two-hour seminar will teach participants to use several basic skills to protect themselves in common self-defense scenarios and to activate the winning mindset that lies at the heart of effective self-defense. In addition to hands-on Krav Maga skills training, participants will learn about Krav Maga’s origins in the 1950s and of its founder, Imi Lichtenfeld. We will also learn several Hebrew words and phrases that relate to distinctive aspects of Krav Maga training. We look forward to training with you.

The course is being taught by Andrew Mishkin, who has been learning, training, and teaching Martial Arts for over thirty years.

This one-day course is free and open to participants age 13 and up.
